What We Collect
When you use the contact form on our website, we ask for the following information:
- Name — to address you personally in our correspondence
- Email address — to respond to your inquiry and send a confirmation
- Phone number (optional) — to contact you by phone if you prefer
- Subject and message — to understand your inquiry
How We Process Your Data
The information from the contact form is sent directly as email via Microsoft Graph API to our company inbox. A confirmation is also sent to you.
- No data is stored in any database on the website.
- The data is processed exclusively as email within our Microsoft 365 environment.
- IP addresses are used temporarily to prevent abuse of the contact form, but are only held in memory and deleted automatically.
Legal Basis
Processing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(f) – legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to receive and respond to inquiries from potential and existing clients.
No Storage of Personal Data
Omnit.no does not store any personal data in databases or files. The contact form sends information as email in real time, and the website retains no copy of the data.
Cookies
The website only uses technically necessary cookies:
- .AspNetCore.Culture — Remembers your chosen language (Norwegian/English). Only set when you actively switch languages.
- .AspNetCore.Antiforgery — Security cookie that protects the contact form against forgery (CSRF). Strictly necessary.
- Blazor session cookies — Technical cookies required for the website to function. Deleted when you close the browser.
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services.
Third Parties
Email is sent via Microsoft Graph API through our Microsoft 365 account. Microsoft processes the email in accordance with their data processing agreement. Beyond this, we do not share personal data with third parties.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access – you may request information about what data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification – you may request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure – you may request deletion of your data.
- Right to object – you may object to our processing of your data.
- Right to lodge a complaint – you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe we violate the regulations.
